OCEAN HDS hydraulic dredge pump is a kind of heavy duty submersible dredge pump, which is driven by hydraulic power. The HDS hydraulic dredge pump is mainly used as an excavator attachment taking place of grab bucket when there is too much water, mud and not suitable for digging. The HDS submersible dredge pump can be equipped with 1-3 cutters to handle harder solid layer.
In addition to being driven by the hydraulic system of the excavator, the OCEAN HDS hydraulic pump can also be driven by hydraulic power pack or other hydraulic systems. It can be installed as an attachement of construction machine, and also can installed on a dredger for separate use.
The hydraulic submersible dredge pump is hydraulically driven instead of electrically driven which has more applications in deep water area. In addition, the hydraulic system has a lower failure rate than the electric system.
