Waterproof testing equipment , IEC 60529 water jet spray nozzle IPX5 IPX6
Introduction:
IEC60035-5 IEC60529 iec water jet nozzle IPX5 and IPX6 call for a specimen to be sprayed with water from all practicable directions. IPX5 specifies a nozzle with a 6.3mm diameter opening and a flow of 12.5l/min. IPX6 specifies a nozzle with a 12.5mm diameter opening and a flow rate of 100L/min.
Applications:The IEC60035-5 IEC60529 Jet Nozzle IPX5-6 Jet Nozzle consists of a jet handle that is equipped with a pressure gauge and an easy-to-adjust flow valve. The interchangeable nozzles assemble easily to the jet handle. The nozzles are made from stainless steel.
Test Condition:
1. The tests are conducted with fresh water.
2. During the tests for IPX1-IPX6 the water temperature should not differ by more than 5 K from the temperature of the specimen under test. If the water temperature is more than 5K below the temperature of the specimen a pressure balance shall be provided for the enclosure.
3. During the purpose of the tests ,the surface area of the enclosure is calculated with a tolerance of 10%.
4. Adequate safety precaution should be taken when testing the equipment in the energized condition.
