Lencolo 5008 is a versatile and efficient photoinitiator, which can be used for the polymerization of unsaturated prepolymers, such as: acrylate, with single-name or multi-functional vinyl monomers. Can also be used in aqueous systems.
It is suitable for acrylic-based light-curing varnish systems, such as paper varnishes, metal varnishes, plastic paints, UV printing inks, etc. It can also be used in adhesives. As a liquid UV initiator, it has good compatibility and is especially easy to mix. Therefore, it is especially suitable for mixing with other initiators, and it can also be added together with other initiators. Especially recommended for UV coatings exposed to sunlight for a long time due to its good yellowing resistance.Solubility (20ºC, g/100g)
