PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
D001 is a macro-porous strongly acidic cation exchange resin of the sulphonated polystyrene type. With its uniform and solid structure and low rate of repetitive reversion and expansion, it performs with good anti-osmatic efficiency and shock resistance. The mesh porosity of the resin does not vary from solution swelling, and it remains with good exchange and adsorption performance in organic solutions. Also, it can be used in water demineralization and applied as catalyst thro organic synthesis.

PRETREATMENT/REGENERATION STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES(SOP):
The factory ionic form of D001 resin is shipped as Na+. Pretreatment steps aligned with Dynamic Regeneration Method that transforms resin into H+ before in-use is proceeded as below:
I. Prepare configured ion exchange column. Clean it and then fill it with resin; the resin filling height is 70% of the height of the ion exchange column, then add deionized pure water to sink &compact resins to bottom.
II. Prepare 5% concentrated strong acid solutions such as HCL, whose volume is 4 times the volume of the resin(ie. 4L HCL to regenerate 1L resin) to pour downstream top to bottom. The regeneration duration is 1 to 1.5 hours.
III. Once regeneration is completed, rinse resin with pure water until PH is 6 to 7. Ready to use or spare.
