Thrust ball bearings are designed to withstand thrust loads when running at high speeds. They are composed of a washer-shaped ring with a raceway groove for the ball to roll. Since the ring is a seat cushion, thrust ball bearings are divided into two types: flat seat cushion type and self-aligning spherical seat cushion type. In addition, this bearing can withstand axial loads.
