Phenyl functional silane can be used for hydrophobic surface treatment. 3.Phenyl functional silane can be used as hydrophobic additive to other silane coupling agents. It may be used in a variety of applications: A.Mineral Fillers: as a surface modifier for the aluminum trihydrate (ATH) used as a filler in halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR)cable insulation B.Silicones: as a crosslinker in high-temperature silicone elastomers C.Catalysts: as an electron donor ("A-donor") in the polymerization of polypropylene. |
