1.Phenyl functional silanecan improve thermal stability of other silanes. 2.Phenyl functional silane can be used as other silanes and siloxanes intermediates. Phenyl functional silane can be used for hydrophobic surface treatment. 3.Phenyl functional silane can be used as hydrophobic additive to other silane coupling agents. It may be used in a variety of applications: A.Mineral Fillers: as a surface modifier for the aluminum trihydrate (ATH) used as a filler in halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR)cable insulation B.Silicones: as a crosslinker in high-temperature silicone elastomers C.Catalysts: as an electron donor ("A-donor") in the polymerization of polypropylene. |
