MY001 USB2.0 Infrared Optical probe  with USB output serves as an interface for infrared communication with peripheral devices, including electricity, water, heat, flow,or gas meters or any device with an optical port. Its compact housing design, made rugged with PC, maintains durability with even less weight. This product is compatible with all devices adhering to the European standard IEC 62056-21 (IEC 1107).

MY001 features a USB Type A connector, making it a fitting choice for tablets and smartphones that have a Type A interface. It supports several operating systems, including Mac, Windows, Android, Windows Mobile, and Linux. Moreover, the driver required for this purpose is included. This device is powered through its USB port, eliminating the need for an external battery pack or AC adapter. MY001 is equipped with a robust magnet that securely attaches the optical probe to the meter, providing resistance to external light sources other than the infrared wavelength.
