PRODUCT DATA SHEET:
CAD45 is a styrene-series macroporous adsorbent, which is characterized by separating weak polar organic micromolecules from polar solutions that contatin macromolecules.
Not containing ion-exchange functional groups, this weak-polar adsorbent is synthesized by polymerizing monomers with very small dipole moment, and thus surface of the pores is highly hydrophobic. Therefore, it can selectively adsorb the organic micromolecules impurities through interaction with the hydrophobic parts in these small molecules.
Polymerized by its specific surface area and unique pore diameter, CAD45 adsorbent is most suitable for extracting small molecules of vitamin B12 and various types of antibiotics during synthesis of biomedicine and healthcare products.
