I’ve been collecting Mofusand Blind Boxes for about a year now, and this article really captures the charm and cultural appeal behind them. As someone who first discovered the brand through social media, it was fun to see the history and design philosophy behind Juno’s illustrations explained so clearly.

The breakdown of where to buy and what to expect in terms of pricing is accurate based on my experience shopping both in Japan and online (I’ve bought from Loft, Tokyu Hands, and even imported a few through proxy services). I also appreciated that the article touched on the collectible nature—yes, it’s incredibly addicting once you open that first box!

One thing I loved about this write-up is that it acknowledges the joy and slight frustration of the blind box experience—especially the suspense of not knowing which figure you’ll get, and the occasional disappointment of getting duplicates. As a collector, that’s part of the fun, and I’ve actually made a few online friends by trading extras.

If I could suggest anything to improve the article, I’d love to see more details about the rarer “secret” figures or themed releases like the Fluffy Party or Café series. Those little details matter to collectors like me.

Overall, it’s a great intro for people new to Mofusand and a lovely celebration of why these quirky little cats have taken over the hearts (and shelves) of so many fans worldwide. Well done!
