SOOW cable is for heavy-duty industrial applications where flexibility and durability are required.SOOW is designed for ultra-high-intensity use in industrial equipment, heavy-duty tools, motors and welding leads, power extension cords, portable machinery, audio equipment, portable stage lighting, marine terminal power, and mining applications.SOOW is constructed of color-coded synthetic oil, ozone- and water-resistant rubber (EPDM) insulation, and an oil-resistant, thermoset chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket. Made of color-coded synthetic oil, ozone and water resistant rubber (EPDM) insulation and an oil resistant chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) jacket, SOOW is suitable for indoor/outdoor use.
SOOW flexible rubber cords are rated at 600 volts. They are also manufactured as a primary service line rated at 300 volts, called SJOOW. using the key, SJEOOW line is a 300-volt (primary service) flexible plastic oil-resistant jacketed portable line.
