Albendazole suspension
Composition:
Albendazole
Indications:
Albendazole suspension is indicated in the treatment of mature and immature roundworms and lungworms, including inhibited Type II Ostertagiasis in cattle, and flukes. It also removes both heads and segments of roundworms.
Precautions:
1.Albendazoleis not recommended for the treatment of acute fascioliasis in sheep. During tupping do not dose ewes at the fluke and worm dose rate, or for 1 month after removing rams.
2.Do not exceed the recommended dose in females during early pregnancy.
3. Cattle suffering from severe lung damage due to heavy lungworm infection may continue to cough for some weeks after the treatment.
Dosage:
For Oral Administration.
Horse: 5-10mg per 1kg of body weight
Cattle and sheep: 10-15mg per 1kg of body weight
Swine: 5-10mg per 1kg of body weight
Dog: 25-50mg per 1kg of body weight
Poultry: 10-20mg per 1kg of body weight
Withdrawal times:
Meat: 14 days.
Milk: 5 days

3 years
