Operation of Rotary Wedge Wire Screen
Ingeniously designed, the wastewater navigates through a weir, cascading evenly onto the drum's sidewalls. This innovative process captures solids on the screen surface while allowing the liquid to flow effortlessly through the openings. As the drum rotates, solids are efficiently carried by flights to the drum's open end. The continuous rotation ensures the entire screening surface is persistently cleansed by the wastewater flow. Additionally, periodic cleaning is enhanced by the strategic use of external spray nozzles.
