Ultrafiltration technology is a pressure-driven membrane separation process that removes suspended or particular matters(including colloids&silt)from water. It serves as a pretreatment for surface water, sea water and biologically-treated municipal effluent before reverse osmosis and other membrane systems. This solution is far more reliable than a conventional multimedia filter. In addition to superior turbidity removal, UF membranes efficiently remove bacteria and most virus.
The process of UF water treatment system
Raw water pump→ mechanical filter(quartz sand filter)→ activated carbon filter→ security filter→UF system→ Ozone sterilizer (UV sterilizer)-→water supply point

Replacement time of consumable parts
There are several kinds of consumables you need to replace regularly.
(1)Quartz sand: replaced about every 15 months. 50kg/bag
(2)Activated carbon: replaced about every 15 months. 25kg/bag
(3)Resin: replaced about every 15 months. 25L/bag
(4)PP Filter cartridge: replaced about every 1 month
(5)Ultrafiltration membrane: replaced about every 2-3 years
We suggest customers buy 1- 2 years of PP filter cartridges together with machine. Because these PP filter cartridges need to be replaced every month.
