Satin weave fabrics are frequently specified for aerospace and structural applications, offering excellent strength and surfacing characteristics.
The fiberglass cloth features a satin weave, which is flatter and more easily draped over complex shapes compared to plain weaves. This makes it ideal for aerospace applications.

Tips:
- Satin weaves can be more easily distorted than other weaves
- To produce a symmetrical laminate, invert half the plies as each side of the fabric is largely fill or warp fibers
Use this fiberglass cloth with epoxy resin, polyester resin, or vinyl ester resin to produce composite parts with excellent strength, low weight, and great cosmetics.
