Product Description
The S-P series AC contactor is used to connect and disconnect circuits in power systems with rated operating voltage of 50Hz or 60Hz up to 660V and rated operating current up to 620A, and is combined with appropriate thermal relays or electronic protection devices to form a motor starter to protect circuits that may experience overload.
According to the rated control power supply voltage (us) of the contactor coil, it is divided into AC 50Hz: 380V, 220V, 127V, 110V, 48V, 36V, 24V
Action characteristics: The suction voltage is between 85% and 110% us. Release voltage of 20% to 75% us
Working principle of communication contactor:
When the coil is energized, the static iron core generates electromagnetic attraction, which attracts the moving iron core. As the contact system is linked with the moving iron core, the moving iron core drives three moving contact pieces to move simultaneously, closing the main contact and disconnecting the auxiliary normally closed contact mechanically connected to the main contact. The auxiliary normally open contact is closed, thus connecting the power supply. When the coil is powered off, the suction force disappears, and the linkage part of the moving iron core separates by the reaction force of the spring, causing the main contact to disconnect. The auxiliary normally closed contact mechanically connected to the main contact closes, and the auxiliary normally open contact disconnects, thereby cutting off the power supply.
