Stone wool (Mineral Wool) ceiling tiles with factory applied latex paint on glass scrim surface
The base material of DEGO ceiling products is stone wool (resin bonded mineral wool) produced according to the principles of a volcanic eruption. By means of patented technology, stone is melted and transformed into wool with binders being added. In thefollowing processes, the wool is shaped and cut according to specification and turned into ceiling tiles of various sizes,thicknesses and densities. Finally, a finishing treatment is applied giving the tiles an elegant and attractive surface finish.

As stone wool is non hygroscopic, the tiles withstand up to 100% relative humidity and maintain dimensional stability. The stone wool does not contain organic nutrients and so is not attacked by rot, fungi or bacteria. Thanks to Degofon excellent humidity resistance and extremely low susceptibility to microorganisms, the brown stains those occurred because of bacteria pukes are never seen on Degofon surface.PHYSICAL DATA
