Activated Alumina Balls
White bead, non-toxic, odorless and insoluble in water and ethanol. According to different uses, its raw materials and preparation methods are different.
Application:
Used as desiccant to selectively adsorb water in some gases,vapors and liquids.
In addition to being used as a desiccant, it can also absorb the vapor of lubricating oil from contaminated oxygen, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, etc.
Used as catalyst, catalyst carrier and chromatographic analysis carrier.
Used as adsorbents, water purifiers.
Factors that will affect the adsorption of Activated alumina balls
Particle size: The smaller the particle size, the higher the adsorption capacity, but the smaller the particle size, the lower the particle strength, affecting its service life.
PH value of raw water: When the PH value is greater than 5, the lower the PH value, the higher the adsorption capacity of activated alumina.
Raw water alkalinity: High bicarbonate concentration in raw water will reduce the adsorption capacity.
Chloride ion and sulfate ion.
