Silicon Aluminum Welding Wire ER4043
ER4043 ALUMINUM WELDING WIRE
- 5% silicon aluminum (AlSi5) filler metal welding wire for the MIG welding process.
- It contains silicon additives, which result in improved fluidity (wetting action) of the weld pool and also produces a weld less sensitive to cracking.
- Its bright weld finish makes it a popular choice of welders.
- It can be used to weld various grades of aluminum.
- Less sensitive to weld cracking than other aluminum alloys and the 5% silicon content lowers the melting point, increases fluidity of the weld puddle and leaves a bright shiny weld deposit.
- Melting range is 1065 °F- 1170 °F, density is 0.097 lbs/in3 and post anodizing color is gray.
