Product name: Ammonium Bicarbonate food grade
Properties: Ammonium Bicarbonate is white crystal powder, ammon ia flavor, irritative to eyes as close. Its molecule weight is 79.06, flash point 169.8ºC, dissolving 22grams per 100ml water under 22ºC. It can not be shelfed with acid and alkali chemicals. It will decompose slowly as high air temperature and release ammona flavor when exposed in air.Applications: Ammonium bicarbonate is a kind of foaming agent, widely used in biscuit and bread fields. It can also be used in many industries, such as rare earth processing, electronic industries, plastic processing, and metal work etc.
Firstly, it is commonly used in cakes and other foods to serve as a leavening agent. This is because ammonium bicarbonate decomposes to produce carbon dioxide gas when heated, causing the food to rise and become fluffy.
Secondly, ammonium bicarbonate can also be used in combination with sodium bicarbonate as a leavening agent ingredient for breads, cookies, pancakes, and other foods. In these foods, ammonium bicarbonate produces carbon dioxide gas, making the food crisper and better tasting.
