Artemisia caruifolia Buch.-Ham. ex Roxb.), an annual herbaceous plant of Artemisia annua of the Asteraceae family, glabrous stem, yellowish-green or brownish-yellow surface, glabrous leaves, dark green or brownish-green leaves, long petioles, small lobes long triangular ctenophore or nearly linear-lanceolate, cephalic inflorescences nearly hemispherical, with short peduncles, drooping, racemes forming panicles, thin fruits oblong, flowers and fruits from June to September. The ancient name of Artemisia annua is which means "grass for malaria", and was first published in the Shennong Materia Medica. Artemisia annua is mainly produced in China, distributed in northern and southern China, coastal areas, and distributed abroad in Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Myanmar, India and Nepal. Artemisia annua is born at low altitudes, humid river banks on sandy land, valleys, forest edges, roadsides, etc., likes warm and humid climates, requires sufficient sunshine, does not tolerate shade, and avoids stagnant water.
