Function:
1. Brightening skin tone inhibits the formation of melanin. After ascorbate glucoside is transformed into vitamin C and enters skin cells, it can significantly reduce the formation of melanin by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase. Inhibition of tyrosinase reduces dopamine quinones, an intermediate in the synthesis of melanin. As an added benefit, it also converts the dopa quinone to levodopa, which relieves the melanin that has formed, thereby reducing skin pigmentation.
2. Resist UV damage inhibit cell damage caused by UV irradiation after ascorbate glucoside is transformed into vitamin C, it can greatly reduce the free radicals produced by UV irradiation on the skin, significantly reduce skin damage, and play a role in protecting the skin in sunscreen products.
