The principle of V - process casting is to seal the molding flask with plastic film, draw out the air in the mold with negative pressure vacuum pump, form the pressure difference inside and outside the mold, make the dry sand compact, and form the required mold cavity. Compared with the traditional sand casting, the biggest advantage of V - process casting is that it does not use binder, so it can reduce the environmental pollution and the amount of labor for sand sticking cleaning is also greatly reduced. The recovery rate of used sand can reach more than 95 %. It is composed of sand treatment system and molding system. The sand treatment system is composed of cooling and conveying equipment, dust removal equipment and PLC electric control system to realize the recycling of used sand. The molding system is composed of molding flask, mold lifting mechanism , mobile vibrating platform, etc. and equipped with a turning box manipulator to form a set of molding production line with high degree of automation. This process belongs to environmental protection and green molding process and is known as, green revolution of foundry industry.
