Sealing function:
Water blocking acts as a sealing function
by connecting the engine body and the cooling system to prevent
cooling medium from leaking. Once the cooling system leaks,
the cooling medium is lost,
and the engine cannot be cooled,
which will cause the engine to overheat or even damage.
Cooling function:
A large amount of heat will be generated when the engine is running.
The water blockage connects the engine body and the heat dissipation device,
transfers the heat generated by the engine to the cooling medium,
takes away heat through conduction and convection,
reduces the engine temperature,
and ensures the normal operation of the engine.
Antifreeze:
In winter, if water in the engine cooling system freezes,
the volume will expand,
which may cause the cylinder block or cylinder head to rupture.
Water blockage can be pushed open when the water freezes and expands,
releasing pressure,
thereby protecting the body or cylinder head from freezing cracks to a certain extent.
Convenient processing and maintenance:
The oil and water channels inside the engine cylinder
cannot be formed integrally during casting,
and require later processing.
The holes left after processing need to be blocked with water.
In addition, during maintenance,
loosening the water blockage can easily clean or clean the cooling water chamber.
Bowl-shaped plug
