B. Description:
E7018 is a basic coated hydrogen-controlled electrode for welding of 490 N/mm2 grade high tensile steel. The flux coating formula not only optimizes mechanical properties, also promotes a low hydrogen
potential in the weld metal.
C. Application:
E7018 welding can be done with high deposition rate, good X-ray soundness and mechanical properties. It
is especially suitable for nuclear power stations,petroleum chemical plants, and heavysteel plates.

Notes on usage:
Dry the electrodes at 300 - 350°C for 60 minutes and keep it at 100 - 150 °C before use.
