Cefotaxime sodium for injection, western medicine name.Cephalosporin drugs.It is used for pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, meningitis, septicemia, abdominal cavity infection, pelvic cavity infection, skin soft tissue infection, reproductive tract infection, bone and joint infection caused by sensitive bacteria.Cefotaxime can be used as the drug of choice for infantile meningitis.
