Applications
Aluminium chlorohydrate is a group of water-soluble, specific aluminum salts. It's white solid powder or colorless transparent liquid.
As a flocculant, it is mainly used to purify drinking water and treat special water quality, such as printing and dyeing wastewater, to remove iron, fluorine, cadmium and radioactive pollution. In water purification, this compound is preferred in some cases because of its high charge, which makes it more effective at destabilizing and removing suspended materials than other aluminum salts
