CCS, Dnv-Gl Approved 30 Persons Marine Davit Launched Inflatable Life Raft for Passenger Ship

D type davit-launched inflatable life raft is applicable for installing ships on category I voyage area ( international voyages).

There are Pack "A" and Pack "B" available for different requirement.

At the same time, the davit launched liferaft are approved by CCS, DNV-GL(EC), RMRS, NK, KR etc and it meets the following standard:

1. Regulation 4,13,21,26,31 and 34, Chapter III of International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, as Amended.
2. Chapter I and IV of MSC.48(66)International Life-saving Appliance Code,as Amended by MSC.218(82) and MSC.293(87).
3. Section 5, Part 1 and Section 5, Part 2 of MSC.81(70) Revised Recommendation on Testing of Life-saving Appliance,as Amended by MSC.226(82), MSC295(87) and MSC.323(89).

The installation height of the life raft can be 35m from water surface. Usually it is inflated on deck, slewed out and lowered to sea by the life raft davit and then release it through hook from the davit. Also it can float up from water under the action of hydrostatic release unit automatically if there is not time to inflate it before the ship sinks.
