General description
Canlon PVC single ply waterproofing system is using the latest technology to ensure consistent quality.It has been thoroughly tested to meet all the required european norms& fire requirements and is ce&bba marked.Waterproofing membranes of this type have been in use for over 50 years, so it provides a tied and tested means of keeping your building watertight.
To compliment both our canlon sm membrane is available in the form of tapes of various widths for detailing work together with specially produced PVC coated metal to form drip edges and other termination details.
The membrane therefore comes not only with a complete range of accessories, outlets, vents etc., but also with the full technical back up canlon is rightly known and well respected for, including the production of Nbs specifications,detail drawings and any relevant calculations;Wind-uplift, rainwater outlet requirements, condensation risk analysis and u values.
The membrane is installed by approved contractors who have been trained at one of canlon's specially designed training centers.Flowing installation inspections are carried out and, once signed of as meeing canlon's demanding requirements, guarantees of up to 25 years are available.
There are three types to choose:
Type FR--reinforced for metal roof by mechanically fasten method;
Type FB-fleece backed for concrete substrate by full adhered method;
Type SM--non-reinforced pvc for lap& detail welding.

Mechanically attached systems are best choice when weight is a consideration, when the system is to be installed during cooler weather or when a roof is being re-covered, steel roof is an optimal choice for mechanically fastened systems, especially when installing a new roofing system over a structural standing seam metal building, as the mechanical attachment is light weight and less likely to overload the highly engineered weight limits of the building.Wood and cementitious wood fiber are also very good decks fo mechanically fastened systems.Special fastening accessories machines indispensable (such as automatic welding machines, hand-held guns and rollers are) to secure the whole installation, the overlap joints will be welded by automatic hot-air machines so as to enhance the wind force loading capacity.
