Caramel Vertical Bamboo is our best seller, appreciated by architects, designers, and home owners, suitable for residential and commercial interior furnishing. We've done numerous projects using caramel vertical bamboo in public places like libraries, hotels, museums, sports centers etc.

Caramel is a rich deep color, achieved by long time of kiln drying at high temperature, which removes sugar, starch and kills insects and the eggs of insects from bamboo. Caramel looks like coffee or espresso, appreciated by designers, and compatible with modern interior furnishing.

Unlike horizontal grain, vertical grain doesn't show the wide knots of bamboo, but looks like narrow bamboo strips laminated together to form a big panel. Each strip roughly 5mm to 6.5mm wide, whereas horizontal  grain is made by using 21mm to 21.6mm wide bamboo strips edge glued to form a big panel. Vertical grain is also called side pressed or narrow grain.
