Sodium tripolyphosphate(Na5P3O10) is a strong cleaning ingredient that typically can rid dishes and fabrics of soil and spots. Its
key function is that it allows surfactants to work at their full potential. Also, it prevents deposition of soil and acts as a pH
buffer. It softens detergent water and can be used as a water treatment, as well. Many household cleaning products, including
surface and toilet cleaners, contain STPP due to its cleaning component. Most chemical plants that make STPP list "detergents" as
the primary area of use for this chemical.

Sodium tripolyphosphate has the functions of chelation, suspension, dispersion, peptization, emulsification, pH buffering, etc. It can be used as the main auxiliary agent of synthetic detergents, industrial water softener, leather pretanning agent, dyeing auxiliary, organic synthesis catalyst, pharmaceutical industry dispersant and food additive, etc. In addition to exporting STPP, domestic STPP consumption is mainly concentrated in the detergent industry, food, ceramics, etc.
Uses:
1. Mainly used as an additive for synthetic detergents, soap builder and bar soap builder and bar soap oil precipitation and blooming.
2. It has a strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oil and fat, can be used to adjust the pH value of buffered soap solution, softener for industrial water, leather premixing agent, etc.
3. Used as a dispersant for acid suspension in industry, drilling mud dispersant, and used as a stain remover in papermaking industry, etc.
