1. Install the oxygen measurement probe with the measuring lance. If the needle of the instru men! points to zero, it means the connection is good and then begin to measure then.
2.The probe must be reliably connected to the lance and penetrates the steel slag quickly into the molten steel liquid. The depth of the penetration is about 300-400mm.
4.It should be banned to measure the oxygen content with measuring lance when stirring with gas. Otherwise there will be larger errors which lead to the failure of oxygen measurement.
5.When adjusting quality or adding metallic element to the molten steel, it should be waited for its intensive mixing for about 2-3 minutes before measuring oxygen activity
