JS905 Polysulfide Sealant is a two-part, high modulus, solvent-free, room temperature curing sealant specifically designed for secondary edge seal in insulating glass units. It has high strength, high elasticity, and good adhesion to glass, aluminium, aluminum alloy, stainless steel and galvanized steel. JS905 Polysulfide Sealant has good process performance and is suitable for insulating glass automatic production lines (mechanical operation) and manual production lines (manual operation) .
FEATURES:
• Room temperature curing, reactive sealant.
• Low water vapor transmission rate, extending the life of insulating glass.
• Non-slump, easier to use, reducing waste when applied by hand operation.
• No solvent, no volatile organic matter.
• JS905 Polysulfide Sealant has good adhesion to glass and good adhesion to most insulating glass spacer materials, such as aluminum alloy, aluminum, stainless steel, etc .
• Excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance and chemical resistance, which can avoid the failure of the seal of the insulating glass due to the incompatibility of the sealant and the insulating glass material, thereby providing excellent protection for the insulating glass.
• Due to its low permeability to most solvents, oils and plasticizers, JS905 Polysulfide Sealant is also suitable for non-rigid warm-edge spacer systems, such as TPS, etc .
• Good compatibility with polyisobutylene sealants.
• Minimum thickness of the sealant is 5.0mm for gas-filled IG. (In practical applications, the appropriate thickness should be determined according to the size, weight of the double glazed units, the size of the spacer frame and the design of the glass system.)
