EPDM foam sheet : Open cell epdm foam is one kind of rubber and plastic foaming products, EPDM have open cell pore and closed cell pore. The internal cells of EPDM closed cell pore foam material are separated by cell wall membranes, they don't link together, belonging to independent cell structure, and mainly are the smaller bubble hole shape or extremely small micropore. The Internal cells of EPDM open cell pore foam material are link together with each other and also link with the outer skin, belongs to non-independent cell structure, and mainly are larger bubble holes or rough holes.
For EPDM Closed-cell: • Light and good tear strength • Low co-efficiency of thermal conductivity • Hight-Performance of water absorption • Due to good cushioning,it can be used as shock absorbing materials • Excellent weather-resistance.EPDM model sponge showed no change under the Ozon Resistance Test(50pphmx38ºC,20% expansion for 72hrs)
For EPDM Open-cell: • It is deformed easily by slight force,it recovers slowly when the presure is released. • Good tear resistance • Excellent weather resistance and ozon resistance • Excellent heat resistance • Good water sealing property.
