Common mode choke, abbreviated as CMC, also known as common mode choke, is commonly used in switching power supply to filter common mode EMI signal. In the circuit design, the common mode inductor also plays the role of EMI filtering. Common mode inductance is used to make differential mode signal (required signal) pass through, while common mode signal (noise) cannot pass through. It can be used in electronic products, personal computers, switching power supply and so on.
