SEPLITE LSC 495 is a special chelating resin with Bis-Picolylamine function group.
Its special pore character and functional group makes it suitable for capturing transition metal ions from solutions of pH lower than 2.
Conditions for using this type of resin:
1) Recovery Cooper from mining stream with low PH range
2)Separation of Cobalt/Nickel Separation in nickel plant
3)Purification of Trivalent Chromium Plating Bath.
With high concentration of sulfuric acid,metals like cobalt,nickel, iron and zinc could be eluted, copper would still stay on the resin, by using 2N ammonium hydroxide, copper could be eluted as well.
