Crospovidone is often called as crosslinked PVP or insoluble PVP. It appears as white or off-white, free flowing hygrosopic powder, odorless or with faint characteristic odor, insoluble in water, alkali, acid or common organic solvents. It has strong expandability and complexing ability with polyphenols, carboxylic acid and other compounds with low molecular weight.
Application:
Crospovidone PVPP-F, PVPP-R, PVPP-XL and PVPP-XL10, (CAS NO.: 25249-54-1/9003-39-8), they are widely used as the absorbent of Tannin and Polyphenols in Beverage&Brewing fields and the excipients in Pharmaceutical field.
PVPP Granule particle size: 5-15mesh>90%. Due to this speciality, less waste of raw material and easier cleaning of the equipment than PVPP powder during the brewing&beverage process.
