Product Description
Triethanolamine:Triethanolamine is an organic compound that at room temperature is colorless to light yellow transparent viscous liquid with a weak ammonia taste. At low temperatures, it is colorless to light yellow cubic crystal system, and gradually darkens when exposed to air. Soluble in water, ethanol, acetone, glycerin and ethylene glycol, slightly soluble in benzene, ether and carbon tetrachloride. Triethanolamine is less basic than amine, has the properties of tertiary amine and alcohol, and reacts with organic acid to form salt at low temperature, ester at high temperature, and amine oxide when oxidized with hypochlorous acid.
Use:
Pharmaceutical field : triethanolamine is mainly used in the treatment of erythema and burns caused by radiation, is a common drug for the treatment of skin diseases.
