When heated to 513ºC or above, it is completely decomposed into ammonium, nitrogen, and water. The reaction with alkalis releases ammonium gas. solution to form barium sulfate precipitation. Proteins can also be salted out

Ammonium sulfate is mainly used as a fertilizer and is suitable for a variety of soils and crops. It can also be used in textile, leather, medicine and so on.
