STARSE AICD Water Control Screen
Structure
STARSE autonomous inflow control device is the latest high-tech product and very sensitive to the viscosity of the fluid. When well produces, water cut continuously increases and fluid viscosity decreases, the AICD automatically and gradually closes to limit the inflow rate and water/gas production. STARSE AICD chokes made of Alloy 718 (or special materials), is corrosion, erosion, high temperature and high pressure resistant, and is an effective water control tool. AICD Structure
AICD is composed of main body, floating bowl and bottom cover. Floating bowl is assembled in the central axis of main body. Bottom cover is connected to the inner round body by screw thread. Main body has inflow holes and bottom cover has outflow-holes for stream pass through.
Features
- Excellent functionality, float-type AICD can restrain fluid flow autonomously based on fluid viscosity.
- Under the same differential pressure, crude oil flow rate passed through the AICD is much higher than water, roughly 6-10 times.
