The ability of this solvent to distribute between the aqueous and polymeric phases contributes to film formation and formulation stability.
Butyl Carbitol Acetate Solvent also promotes color development and touch-up properties to architectural coatings, particularly in conditions of low temperature and high humidity.
Its mild, nonresidual odor makes it ideal for use in interior latex coatings.
