Cervical ripening catheter is used for physical dilation of cervical canal prior while the cervix is unfavorable for induction, balloons are inflated with sterilized saline. By using the pressure of both balloon, the cervix will synthesize and release prostaglandin, and promote the cervix ripening. Cervical dilatation balloon dilates the cervix canal safely, naturally and gradually and facilitates the induced labor.
This product consists of catheter, balloon, distal tip, check valve, Y connector and locking loop. Y connectors and balloons are made of silicone, check valves is made of ABS, locking loop is made of PE and stylet is made of SUS.
