WDet-5000Mn adopts acid potassium permanganate oxidation method to measure the organic content in the water sample. The organic substances are digested and oxidized in acid potassium permanganate solution under 90ºC~ 95ºC. The organic content can be obtained by comparing the absorbancy of potassium permanganate before and after digestion at 525nm.
