1. Long term use temperature ranges from -80 to 220 degrees Celsius, with chemical corrosion resistance and resistance to all chemicals. The friction coefficient is the lowest among plastics, and it also has good electrical performance. Its electrical insulation is not affected by temperature.
2. Its chemical resistance is similar to PTFE and better than PVDF.
3. Its creep resistance and compressive strength are better than PTFE, with high tensile strength and elongation rate of 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance.
ETFE has good formability, balanced physical properties, good mechanical toughness, and excellent radiation resistance. This material has the corrosion resistance characteristics of PTFE, overcoming the non stick and mechanical defects of PTFE to metals, making ETFE (F-40) an ideal composite material with metals.
