Product Description
Electron beam zone melting furnace is used for the purification of metal materials and directional solidification of crystals.The principle is that the impurity content of metal materials in the liquid phase and the solid phase of the distribution coefficient of K value is different. When conducting zone melting, first establish a melting zone at one end of the test piece, which is suspended under the surface tension of the material melting. As the melting zone slowly moves towards the other end of the test piece, it gradually melts and solidifies. This process realizes the directional movement of impurities to achieve the purpose of purification, while obtaining the directional solidification of the lattice of the test piece.
Using a ring type self accelerating electron gun can obtain a uniform and narrow melting zone, improving the regional melting effect.
