Classification of ternary catalytic converters:

Euro III type: The internal carrier of the three-way catalytic converter is coated with precious metals.
Euro 4 OBD type: Most cars after 2008 have an on-board exhaust gas OBD self check system [on-board computer exhaust self check system, if the exhaust gas does not meet the standard, the fault light will light up]. Cars after 2008 need to be equipped with an OBD standard three-way catalytic converter, including extinguishing the fault light.

Detailed operation steps:
1. Check whether the various systems of the engine are working properly, and it is not allowed to have phenomena such as delayed ignition time, individual cylinder misfires that do not work, rich mixture, or engine oil burning;
2. Check whether the spark plug, fuel injection nozzle, air filter,gasoline filter, oil filter, oxygen sensor and other parts are normal, or clean or replace them;
3. Remove the expired three-way catalytic converter from the original vehicle, cut and remove the catalytic carrier of the three-way catalytic converter, weld the Brown product to the cutting point, and install it.Pay attention to no air leakage at the flange connection; After installation, the catalytic converter activity will reach its optimal working state after idling and heating the vehicle for 15-20 minutes, or driving normally for 100kilometers, and can be tested on the bench.
