Description
Longdyes rooftop freestanding guardrail is a lightweight counter balance guardrail system. As its name implies this system can be installed completely
freestanding with no need for drilling or penetration of the roof membrane. The system is freestanding it is ideal for all flat roof edge protection including
exposed roof edges, stairwells and open shaft protection as well as general demarcation.

The 25kg counterweight is designed to be attached to each of the main uprights, the shell is made of high quality PVC material and filled with concrete which provides the necessary counterbalance weight to prevent the system from being moved.

1. The minimum vertical height of upright is 1100mm
2. The maxmium height between handrail and kneerail is 500mm

1. Put counterweight onto the base module then fix it by taper screws.
2. Insert upright module into base then fix it by set screws.
3. Put handrail and kneerail onto tube fixing then by tightening screws.

On rooftops or surfaces where there is no parapet at the fall edge (or a parapet of less than 100 mm high) a toeboard can be affixed to the base of the guardrail.
