More About 6x21 Bright Wire Fiber Core (Drill Line)
Also known as a cable tool drill line, this 6 x 21 bright wire rope is typically used as a drilling cable in the oil, gas, and water drilling industries. A fiber core (generally made of vegetable such as sisal, etc., or a synthetic like polypropylene, etc.) gives these steel cables excellent resistance to fatigue caused from excessive bending. Because 6 x 21 wire rope cables are used to drill down into corrosive environments, they also are able to withstand a variety of harsh environments.
