Fire Blankets are made of fiberglass fabrics,Various treatments are available such as heat treatment, silicone coated,acrylic coated,vermiculite coated. After treatments, the blankets give higher temperature resistance,and reduce the tendency for molten metal to penetrate the fabric and improve abrasion resistance.
Various size and thickness can be custom on request.
How they work:
When draped over a fire, these fire blankets smother the fire by starving it of its oxygen supply. The fire blankets can also be used to wrap around a person whose clothes are on fire. Placing the blanket on the heat source will help put out the fire. However, it is very important to follow all health and safety procedures and call the fire brigade.
