Introduction:It is a polysaccharide biochemical extracted from the porcine intestinal mucosa which is called "heparin sodium" because it usually exists in the form of sodium salt. Heparin has strong anticoagulant and antithrombotic functions. It is mainly used for the anticoagulation and antithrombosis treatment in clinical practice; also, it is the raw material for the production of low molecular heparin and other drugs.
Indications:It is used for the prevention and treatment of thrombosis or embolic diseases (such as myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, pulmonary embolism); disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) caused by various reasons; and also used in the operations of hemodialysis, extracorporeal circulation, catheterization, microvascular surgery and the anticoagulation treatment of certain blood specimens or instruments
